  1. World Kindness Day is observed on the 13th of November. The theme of World Kindness Day 2022 is “Be Kind Whenever Possible”.
  2. Noble laureate Professor Venki Ramakrishnan has been awarded the prestigious Order of Merit by Britain’s Charles III in recognition of his distinguished service to science.
  3. Alfiya Khan bagged a gold in the 81 plus weight category at the Asian Boxing Championship in Amman, Jordan.
  4. The ICC board has unanimously re-elected Greg Barclay as the Independent Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) for a second two-year term.
  5. Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL) to the nation on 12 November, 2022.
  6. President Jagdeep Dhankar and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen exchanged 4 MoUs in areas of culture, wildlife and health.

  9. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) announced the launch of the BHIM App open-source license model to regulate entities participating in the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) ecosystem.
  10. The Food Safety and Standard Association of India (FSSAI) awarded Bhopal Railway Station a 4-star ‘Eat Right Station’ certification for providing ‘“high-quality, nutritious food to passengers”.
  11. The India-U.S. CEO Forum, chaired jointly by Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Textiles and Ms. Gina Raimondo, US Secretary of Commerce was held virtually.
  12. England were crowned the champions after they defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets in the final T20 World Cup 2022 at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Australia.
  13. The 7th edition of the bilateral air exercise between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the French Air and Space Force (FASF), ‘Exercise Garuda-VII’ concluded at Air Force Station, Jodhpur on 12 November, 2022.
  14. The 41st edition of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) is being held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from 14 November, 2022. In 2022 the theme of the trade fair is ‘Vocal for Local, Local to global’.
  15. Indian shooter Mehuli Ghosh on 12 November, 2022 won the Women’s 10-meter Air Rifle gold medal at the Asian Airgun Championship in Daegu, South Korea.
  16. International Cricket Council on 13 November, 2022 announced that the 2024 Under-19 Men’s T-20 World Cup will be hosted by Sri Lanka while the 2026 edition will be hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia.
