  1. World Soil Day (WSD) is held every year on 5 December as a means to focus attention on the importance of healthy soil and to advocate for the sustainable management of soil resources. The theme of World Soil Day 2022 is, “Soils: Where food begins”.  
  2. International Volunteer Day (IVD) is celebrated on 5 December every year to promote volunteerism at local, national and international levels. The theme of the International Volunteer Day (IVD) 2022 is “solidarity through volunteering”.
  3. The National Zoological Park, Delhi Zoo has celebrated International Cheetah Day and Wildlife Conservation Day in New Delhi on 4 December.
