  1. World Hindi Day or Vishwa Hindi Diwas is celebrated on 10 January every year to promote awareness about the language across the world. The theme of World Hindi day 2023 is “Hindi–Traditional Knowledge to Artificial Intelligence”. 
  2. According to a survey by Avtar, a company that specializes in workplace inclusion, Chennai is India’s top city for women’s employment. Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Mumbai are the next best cities for women’s employment.
  3. Axis Bank has partnered with OPEN to provide a fully native digital current account journey for its customers including SMEs (small and medium enterprises), freelancers, homepreneurs, influencers and more.
  4. Noted economist and popular historian Sanjeev Sanyal released his new book ‘Revolutionaries: The Other Story of How India Won Its Freedom’. 
  5. Dr. Vinaya Prakash Singh, former Member (Personnel), Postal Services Board, has taken over as Secretary General of the Asian Pacific Postal Union (APPU) for a four year term.

  10. Indian squash prodigy Anahat Singh clinched the girls’ Under-15 squash title at the most prestigious British Open tournament in Birmingham on 8 January 2023.
