  1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the India Energy Week (IEW) 2023 event that aimed to showcase India’s rising prowess as an energy transition powerhouse. The IEW held in Bengaluru from 6 to 8 February, 2023.
  2. Luminous Power Technologies announced that it has planned to build India’s first green energy-based solar panel manufacturing plant at Rudrapur in Uttarakhand which will be operational by the end of 2023. 
  3. India and the European Union (EU) announced the formation of three working groups under the ‘Trade and Technology Council’ that was set up to deepen strategic ties with the trade bloc.
  4. Nepal Cricket Association has appointed former Indian cricketer Monty Desai as head coach of the Nepal national cricket team.
