1. In India, ‘Good Governance Day’ (‘Sushasan Divas’) is observed annually on 25th December. On this day nation celebrates the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna and former-Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
2. 25 December was observed as the 160^th birth anniversary of  Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya.
3. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the Covid-19 vaccine for children and booster doses for Health workers and senior citizens, amid the Omicron scare.
4. Niti Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission has unveiled Vernacular Innovation Programme, which will enable innovators and entrepreneurs in India to have access to the innovation ecosystem in 22 scheduled languages by the Centre.
5. Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda on 23 December launched ‘TRIFED Van Dhan-A pictorial Chronicle of Tribal Grit and Enterprise’. 
6. Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs on 24 December announced the launch of the ‘Azadi @ 75 star Rating Protocol of Garbage Free Cities-ToolKit 2022’.
7. Minister of Agriculture, Narendra Singh Tomar inaugurated the four-day agriculture exhibition ‘Agrovision’ in Nagpur on 24 December.
8. India and European Investment Bank (EBI) signed a finance contract for the first tranches loan of Euro 250 million for the Agra metro rail project on 23 December.
9. Environmentalist Dr. Anil Prakash Joshi, who was conferred upon the Padma Bhushan this year, has been awarded the Mother Teresa Memorial Award for Social Justice 2021.
10. INS Khukri was decommissioned in Visakhapatnam on 23 December 2021 after 32 years of glorious Service. It was first of the indigenously built Missile Covettes.
11. Indian Army launched a contemporary messaging application named ASIGMA on 23 December.
12. Indian Air Force (IAF) has deployed the first squadron of the S-400 air defence missile system in the western Punjab sector which will take care of aerial threats from Pakistan and China.
13. Veteran Spinner Harbhajan Singh has announced his retirement from all forms of Cricket.
14. India defeated Pakistan 4-3 to secure the bronze medal, while Korea defeated Japan 4-2 to emerge Asian Champions Trophy men’s hockey tournament held in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
15. Bangladesh women team has won the SAFF U 19 Women’s Championship by defeating India in the finals. Shaheda Akter Ripa of Bangladesh scored the maximum number of goals in the tournament.
16. Indian Skier Aanchal Thakur has won the Bronze medal at the FIS Alpine Skiing Competition in Montenegro in December 23, 2021.
