  1. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the ‘Bharat Darshan Park’ in Delhi which showcases replicas of several iconic monuments of India built with serap and waste Material.
  2. NTPC Ltd. has signed an agreement with Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) for sourcing combustible parts of municipal solid waste also referred to as ‘Refused Derived Fuel’ (RFD).  
  3. Drinking Water Supply Schemes of over Rs. 164 crore has been approved under ‘Jal Jeevan Mission’ in Uttarakhand.
  4. On the Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Dasna, Ghaziabad, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari unveiled India's first "Intelligent Transport System”.
  5. Jharkhand Assembly has passed the Prevention of 'Mob Violence and Mob Lynching Bill, 2021', which aims at providing ‘effective protection’ of constitutional rights and the prevention of mob violence in the state.
  6. Maharashtra Tourism and Environment Minister, Aaditya Thackeray has launched the ‘Chalo mobile application’ (app) and ‘Chalo smart cards’ to facilitate digital and advance purchase of Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) bus tickets.
  7. The "Karnataka Protection of Right to Freedom of Religion Bill, 2021" was passed by the Assembly on December 23, 2021. The bill is commonly referred to as the anti-conversion bill. 
  8. Several political parties and civic organizations, such as the K-Rail SilverLine Viruddha Janakeeya Samiti, have protested "Kerala's SilverLine project". SilverLine is a project for a semi-high-speed railway. 
  9. The Director General of National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) and the Director General of The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) have launched the NMCG-TERI Ventre of Excellence (CoE) on water Reuse.
  10. Central Bank of India and U GRO Capital has signed a co-lending agreement and plans to disburse up to Rs 1,000 crore to medium, small and micro enterprises (MSMEs) over the next 12 months.
  11. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the empanelment of CSB Bank, a private sector lender as an ‘Agency Bank’. 
  12. The flight test of domestic High-Speed Expendable Aerial Target (HEAT) ‘Abhyas’ was successfully completed by Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO).
  13. China conducted a nuclear fusion experiment  for the advancement of its "artificial sun". Hefei Institute of Physical Science launched the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) heating system in December 2021. The goal of the EAST heating system experiment was to make the artificial sun or auxiliary heating system 'hotter and more durable’.
  14. According to the report published by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), India is world’s top three dope violators country in the world. Indian athletes were involved 152 times in dope-related activities in the year 2019.
  15. The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) unanimously passed a resolution on December 22, 2021, allowing for sanctions exemptions against the Taliban.
  16. China's Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) began reviewing a draught amendment to the "Law on Protection of Women's Rights and Interests"
