  1. Every year, February 15 is observed as ‘International Childhood Cancer Day’ (ICCD) to raise awareness about the evil that entails this issue and the ways to deal with the same. The theme for 2021-23 is ‘Better Survival’ is achievable #throughyourhands.
  2. The Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar jointly inaugurated the 14.5-kilometre long ‘Rail-cum-Road-Bridge’ in Bihar.
  3. Ministry of Railways has approved to set up a state-of-art wrestling academy at Kishanganj, Delhi. The wrestling academy will be the biggest in India.

  18. The Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau called for emergency legislation on February 14, 2022, for the first time in 50 years. Emergency law has been enacted to control the ongoing protests by gathering at least 400 trucks on the Canada-US border and on the streets of the capital Ottawa, for about 18 days as the Canadian government has made it mandatory for international truck drivers to take the corona vaccine .
