  1. Indian Space Research Organisation is organising a special programme for School Children called "Young Scientist Programme" "YUva VIgyani KAryakram", YUVIKA, to impart basic knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications to the younger students with a preference to rural areas.
  2. In an attempt to ensure social security of over 7,000 tea garden workers of Tripura, the state government has announced a special scheme named "Mukhyamantri Chaa Srami Kalyan Prakalpa".
  3. West Bengal Finance Minister Chandrima Bhattacharya on 11 March 2022 presented a Rs 3.21-lakh crore budget for the 2022-23 fiscal.
  4. Maharashtra is set become the first state in India to have a trillion-dollar economy. This was informed by Maharashtra’s Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, while presenting the state’s Budget for 2022-23, in March 2022.
  5. The Dept of Expenditure on 11 March 2022 released an amount of Rs 2,221.2 cr to Bihar, Karnataka and West Bengal for providing grants to the Rural Local Bodies.
  6. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on 12 March 2022 resigned from the post to pave the way the formation of a new government in the state.
  7. The government has identified 18 major platforms for industry-led design and development in defence sector under various routes. Defence Ministry has said, this is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision on Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.
  8.  Bihar's Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Ramsurat Kumar told the assembly that the Bihar government would soon deliver the digital documents of land including Khatian and Map from door-to-door in the state.
  9. The union Government has appointed former Financial Services Secretary Debasish Panda as Chairman of IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory Development Authority of India).
  10. The President of India has appointed Justice Vipin Sanghi, the senior-most Judge of the Delhi High Court (HC) as its Acting Chief Justice according to Article 223 of the Constitution of India.
  11. The Supreme Court has appointed its ex-judge A. K. Sikri as Chairperson of a High Powered Committee.
  12. Giriraj Singh, Union Minister of Rural Development, honoured the Jammu and Kashmir Bank (J & K Bank) with the “National Award for outstanding Performance for FY 2020-21” in recognition of its best performance in Self-Help Group Bank Linkage.
  13. Prabha Narasimhan has been appointed as the CEO and MD of Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited.
  14.  11 March 2022 India and Canada have decided to restart talks for a comprehensive economic partnership agreement (CEPA)
  15. The latest edition of Democracy Report was released recently by the V- Dem Institute at Sweden’s University of Gothenburg. The Study was titled ‘Democracy Report 2022: Autocratisation Changing Nature?’.
  16. From March 8 to 10, 2022, Lt Gen Richard Burr, the Chief of the Australian Army, was in India for three days. The Australian Army Chief paid a visit to the Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS), an Indian Army think tank in New Delhi.
