  1. ‘World Consumer Rights Day’ is celebrated on March 15 every year. The Theme for 2022 is “Fair Digital Finance”.
  2. 15 March is celebrated as the ‘World Contact Day’ to bring all alien life enthusiasts together to attempt to contact extraterrestrial beings.
  3. March 14 is marking the 143rd birth anniversary of Nobel Prize-winning physicist Albert Einstein.
  4. The state government of Maharashtra has announced to set up the country’s first medical city named as ‘Indrayani Medicity’ in Pune, to provide all kinds of specialized treatment under one roof.

  16.  The FIFA World Cup 2022 is set to be the 22nd edition of the quadrennial international men’s football championship, which will be contested by national teams from FIFA member countries. It will take place in Qatar from November 21 to December 18, 2022.
  17.  The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced India’s star all-format batter Shreyas Iyer and White Ferns all-rounder Amelia Kerr were voted ‘ICC Player of the Match’ for February 2022.
  18. ISRO on 14 March 2022, successfully conducted the ground testing of the newly developed solid booster state (SS1) for its new Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV).
