1. The Army Medical Corps (AMC) celebrated its 258^th ‘raising day’ on 3 April 2022. The Crops has the motto of “Sarve santu Niramaya” meaning “Let all be free from disease and disability”.
2. Minister of State for Culture and External Meenakshi Lekhi launched the website ‘Temple 360’ on 2 April 2022.
3. Ms. Aprajita Sharma, an IP & TAF Service Officer, has been appointed vice-chair of the Standing Committee on Administration and Management at the International Telecommunication Union’s Council sessions in Geneva from March 21 to March 31,2022.
4.  Polish Tennis star Iga Swiatek defeated Naomi Osaka of Japan, 6-4,6-0 in the final match to claim the ‘2022 Miami Open Tennis Tournament’.
5.  The Indian Coast Guard unit has inducted interceptor boat ‘C-436’, at Karaikal. It has been rebased from Andhra Pradesh station to its fleet to improve surveillance along the coastline of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
6.  Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur launched six new and rare Reference Materials (RMs) on 3 April 2022.
7.  In his 2^nd term as the CM of Goa, Pramod Sawant on 3 April’22, allocated portfolios to his cabinet colleagues. Vishwajit Rane has been given Health and Town and Country Planning Portfolios.
8.  Vikas Kumar has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).
9.  The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) has estimated India’s GDP to grow at 7.4 percent in the financial year 2022-2023.
10. Chief of Army Staff General M.M. Naravane left for Singapore on a three-day visit from 4-6 April 2022. The visit aims to further enhance existing defence relations between India and Singapore.
11. After the signing of the interim trade agreement between India and Australia, a committee has been formed.
12. Serdar Berdimuhamedov has become Turkmenistan’s new President.
13. Australia beat England by 71 runs in the finals to claim their seventh ‘Women’s World Cup’ on April 03,2022, at Hagley Oval in Christchurch, New Zealand.
14. Pulitzer Prize Awardee American poet Richard Howard passed away at the age of 92 in New York.
15. Award winning children’s writer and historian Devika Rangachari has authored a new novel titled “Queen of Fire”, which explores the story of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi.
16.  The 4^th edition of the India Boat and Marine Show (IBMS) was held at Bolgatty Palace in Kochi in Kerala.
17.  As per the data from the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), the overall unemployment rate in India fell to 7.6 percent in March 2022.
