  1. International Olympic Day is celebrated on 23 June  across the globe. This year the theme for the International Olympic Day is “Together for a Peaceful World”.
  2. 23 June  is observed as United Nations Public Service Day. The theme for this year’s event is “Building back better from COVID-19: Enhancing innovative partnerships to meet the Sustainable Development Goals”.
  3. International Widows’ Day is observed across the world on 23 June. This year’s theme is  “Sustainable Solution for Widows Financial Independence”.
  4. World Rainforest Day is observed annually on 22 June. The theme for 2022 is “The time is Now”.
  5. Two communication satellites from Malaysia and India will be launched into geostationary orbit by the European space agency Arianespace.
  6. Jyotirgamaya, a festival celebrating the brilliance of underappreciated performers, was launched in New Delhi by Union Culture Minister G. Kishan Reddy.
  7. P Udayakumar, Director (Planning and Marketing), NSIC, took additional responsibility as CMD NSIC with effect from 20 June, 2022.
  8. External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar is on a four-day visit to Kigali in Rwanda from 22 June, 2022 to attend the 26th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).
  9. Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport has become the first airport in the country to run entirely on hydro and solar power from June 2022.
  10.  Indian Oil has developed an indoor solar cooking system ‘Surya Nutan’.
  11. The National Commission for Women (NCW) organized a workshop on ‘Gender pensive Governance’ for elected women representatives (MLAs) under the ‘She Is A Changemaker’ project.
  12.  Rumeli Dhar, the India seam-bowling allrounder, has announced her retirement from international cricket, at the age of 38.
  13.  The 26th Sindhu Darshan Yatra will start in Leh with the reception of the yatris, according to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, RSS Senior Leader Indresh Kumar.
