  1. International Day of the Tropics is observed globally on 29 June.
  2. The Reserve Bank of India has given the State Bank of India preliminary approval for its proposed operations support subsidiary, which aims to reduce the cost-to-income ratio.
  3. On 27 June 2022, Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSE&L) of Ministry of  Education (MoE) released the ‘Performance Grading Index for Districts (PGI-D)’ report for the year 2018-19 and 2019-20 which assessed the performance of school education system at District level by formulating an index for comprehensive analysis.
  4. Renowned business tycoon and former Chairman of the Shapoorji Pallonji Group, Pallonji Mistry has passed away at the age of 93.
