  1. World Asteroid Day (also known as International Asteroid Day) is an annual Un-sanctioned global awareness campaign event observed on 30 June. The theme of World Asteroid Day 2022  is “Small is Beautiful”.
  2. 30 June  is observed as the International Day of Parliamentarism every year to commemorate the date on which the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) was founded.
  3. National Statistics Day is observed in India on 29 June each year. The theme of National Statistics Day 2022 is “Data for Sustainable Development”.
  4. The Dak Karmayogi, which is an e-Learning portal of the department of posts was launched by Shri Ashwini Vaishnav Minister of Communication, Railways, Electronics, and IT and Shri Devusinh Chauhan, Minister of state for Communications.
  5. In Kerala, noted lyricist, author and journalist, Chowalloor Krishnankutty passed away at a private Medical College Hospital in Thrissur.
  6. The Delhi-based leading Drone enterprise platform company IG Drones has been felicitated with the ‘Best Drone Organisation – Start-up Category’ by Airwards.
  7. The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Department, Government of Odisha has been awarded first prize in the category “National MSME Award 2022 to States/UTs for outstanding contribution in the promotion and Development of MEME Sector” by virtue of various developmental initiatives taken up for the development of MSMEs.
  8. Iran has submitted an application to become a member in the group of emerging economies known as the BRICS.
  9.  Senior advocate K. K. Venugopal has agreed to continue as the Attorney General for India for three more months.
  10.  Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla along with Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari gave away National Highways Excellence Awards-2021.
  11.  Fourth Synergy Conference between Indian Army and Defence Accounts Department (DAD) was held in New Delhi on 28 June, 2022.
  12.  Legendary Indian hockey player Varinder Singh, an Olympic and World championships medalist, passed away on 27 June, 2022.
  13.  Eknath Shinde, a rebel Shiv Sena MLA, will be sworn in as the new chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis told the press.
  14.  Novak Djokovic became the first player in history to win 80 matches in all four Grand Slams when he defeated Kwon Soon-woo 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 on Centre Court his 80th win in Wimbledon.
