  1. Renowned Nepali poet Bhanubhakta Acharya’s 209th birth anniversary was observed on 13 July, 2022. His birth anniversary is known as ‘Bhanu Jayanti’ and is celebrated by the people of Nepal, Darjeeling and Sikkim.                                                                                                      
  2. The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has selected Sanjai Kumar for the post of Chairman and Managing Director RailTel Corporation of India Ltd (RCIL).
  3. The Airports Authority of India, Leh airport is being built as a carbon-neutral airport, a first in India.
  4. PE firm Advent International has appointed Pratik Pota to run its portfolio company Eureka Forbes. Pratik will join Eureka Forbes as Managing Director and CEO.
  5. Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially inaugurated and set the cornerstone for a number of construction project totalling more than 16,800 crores of rupees in Deoghar.
