1. 27 July, 2022 marked 7^th death anniversary of former President and Bharat Ratna Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.

3. Jonas Vingegaard of Denmark won his first Tour de France Title on 24 July, 2022.
4. Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC) at IIT Kanpur has launched ‘NIRMAN’ Accelerator Programme, supported by the Department of Science and Technology, the Government of India.
5. The international financial institution, World Bank has appointed Indermit Gill, as its Chief Economist and senior Vice-President for Development Economics effective from 1 September, 2022.

12.  Union Minister of Ayush Sarbananda Sonowal on 24 July, 2022 launched ‘Bal Raksha’ mobile app at the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA).
13.  Russia has decided to quit the International Space Station (ISS) after 2024.
