1. The International Day of Clean Air for blue skies is observed globally on 7 September to promote and facilitate actions to improve air quality. 2022 Theme “The air we share’.
2. As part of the financial inclusion drive, public sector banks will open 300 branches in unbanked areas of various states by December 2022.
3. Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has lead delegation to Milan, Italy from 5-7 September, 2022 to attend the Gastech Milan-2022.  
4. Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pande is on a 5-day visit to Nepal from 4-8, September 2022.
5. As part of the Adarsh Gram Panchayat initiative, Bhartaul village in the Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh has become the first village in the state to have RO water in every household.
6. The Indian government has given approval to the annual commemoration of ‘Hyderabad Liberation Day’ from 17 September, 2022 to 17 September, 2023.

9. On 5 September, 2022 Telugu writer and actor, Tanikella Bharani was presented with the annual Sahitya Puraskar of the Lok Nayak Foundation (18^th Lok Nayak Foundation Award) at an award ceremony held at kalabharti Auditorium, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
10. On 5 September, 2022 Mastercard announced its collaboration with Board of Control for Cricket of India (BCCI), under which Mastercard will be the title sponsor for all international and domestic cricket matches of the BCCI to be held in India.
11. According to a NITI Aayog report, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat have been ranked as the top three states among larger states in terms of the overall implementation of the Centre’s flagship Poshan Abhiyaan.
12. India’s first intranasal Covid vaccine by Bharat Biotech received approval from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) for primary immunization against the infection for people above the age of 18.

14. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the newly formed district Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki as the 29th district of the state.
15. West Bengal has been accredited the International Travel Award 2023 for Best Destination for Culture by the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA), an affiliate member of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
