  1. National Forest Martyrs Day is commemorated across the country every year on 11 September. It is a day to honour people who have given their lives to conserve India's animals, forests and jungles.
  2. Americans remembered 9/11 on 11 September with readings of victims’ names, volunteer work and other tributes 21 years after the deadliest terror attack on US soil.
