  1. The International Day of Peace is observed globally on 21 September. The theme of 2022 is “End racism. Build peace.”
  2. World Alzheimer’s Day is observed on 21 September. The theme for World Alzheimer’s Month 2022: ‘Know dementia, Know Alzheimer’s’.
  3. The Indian Army on 18 September, 2022 activated the satellite-based internet service on the Siachen Glacier at 19,061 feet.
  4. Jammu and Kashmir Government has decided to declare Maharaja Hari Singh’s birth anniversary, 23 September as a public holiday.
  5. Prasanna Kumar Motupalli is selected as the Chairman and Managing Director of NLC India Limited by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB).
  6. Bangladesh pacer Rubel Hossain on 19 September, 2022 announced his retirement from Test cricket.
  7. The President of India has appointed Justice T Raja, the senior-most Judge of the Madras High Court as the court’s Acting Chief Justice with effect from 22 September, 2022.
