  1. Veteran Congress leader and former MP from Odisha Jayanti Patnaik passed away on 28 September, 2022.
  2. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has found 20 Buddhist caves, ranging from the 2nd Century BC to the 5th Century BC, at Madhya Pradesh’s Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.
  3. The All India Football Federation (AIFF) on 27 September, 2022 launched its Grassroots Football Development (GFD) scheme in Arunachal Pradesh.
  4. The Chhattisgarh Tourism Board on 27 September, 2022 (World Tourism Day) signed an MoU with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to promote tourist places in the state.
  5. Gujarat is hosting the 36th National Games from 29 September to 12 October, 2022. It was formally inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
