  1. Every year, 21 October is celebrated as the National Police Commemoration Day, to pay tribute to all police personnel who died in the line of duty.
  2. Madhya Pradesh has achieved second rank in the country under the ‘Best Performing State’ category in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban scheme.
  3. India’s Ramita Jindal was crowned world champion in the 10-meter Air Rifle Women Junior event at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Championship Rifle/Pistol in Cairo, Egypt on 19 October, 2022.

  7. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 19 October, 2022 launched the ‘Mission Schools of Excellence’ project in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
  8. Former Civil Aviation Secretary Pradeep Singh Kharola has been appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director of India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO).
