  12.  106 year old Shyam Saran Negi, the first voter of Independent India, exercised his right to franchise for the 34th time for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections through a postal ballot at his residence in Kinnaur district, passed away on 5 November, 2022.
  13. Jambey Tashi, MLA from Lumla assembly seat in Arunachal Pradesh, passed away due to following illness.
  14. Carnatic vocalist, composer, collaborator, humanitarian and speaker, Aruna Sairam has been honoured with the French government’s highest honour, Chevalier de I’Ordre des Arts et des award.
  15. Reliance Industries (RIL) on 4 November, 2022 appointed KV Kamath as Independent Director of the company for a period of 5 years.
