  1. Every year on 8 November, World Radiography Day is observed to honour the discovery of X-rays. According to the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists (ISRRT), the theme of 2022 is “Radiographers at the Forefront of Patient Safety”.
  2. World Urbanism Day, also known as World Town Planning Day, is annually celebrated across the globe on 8 November to recognise and promote the role of thorough planning in creating livable communities.
  3. Guru Nanak Dev’s birthday in 2022 was observed on the 8th of November.
  4. Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has won the 25th elections of the Israeli Parliament defeating the interim PM Yair Lapid of Yesh Atid, a centre-left political party.
  5. BYJU’S, the world’s leading education technology company, has appointed football star and global sports icon Lionel Messi as the first global brand ambassador of its social impact arm, Education For All.
