  1. National Education Day is celebrated every year on 11 November to mark the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Education Minister after independence (1947-58).
  2. National Investment and Infrastructure Fund Limited (NIIFL) has signed an MoU with Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC).
  3. The 41st Session of the Universal Periodic Review Working Group is being held from 7 to 18 November at the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva.
  4. Union Minister of Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat released the Dynamic Ground Water Resource Assessment Report for the entire country for the year 2022 in New Delhi, on 9 November, 2022.
  5. Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on 10 November, 2022 launched India’s first national repository for life science data – ‘Indian Biological Data Center’ (IBDC) at Faridabad, Haryana.
  6. Indian Army has launched a single window facility – Veerangana Sewa Kendra (VSK) for the welfare and grievances redressal of Veer Naris (army wives). Indian Army with a motto of   “Taking Care of Our Own, No Matter What” launched this facility.  
  7. India hosted the second Agriculture Ministerial – level meeting of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) in New Delhi on 10 November, 2022.
  8. Social networking platform for Indian farmers, ‘Krishify’, has integrated with the Platform of Platforms portal by e-NAM (National Agricultural Market).
  9. Sanjeev Balyan, MoS for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying presented the ‘India Agribusiness Award 2022’ to the National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) on 10 November, 2022.
  10. The Gandhi Peace Foundation has announced the award of its prestigious Kuldip Nayar Patrakarita Samman for 2022 to The Wire’s senior editor Arfa Khanum Sherwani.
  11. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will gift the local artifacts made in Himachal Pradesh to the world leaders at the upcoming G20 Summit. The G20 Summit will take place in Indonesia’s capital city, Bali.
  12. Indian star cricketer, Virat Kohli has scripted history as he became the first batter in history to reach 4000 runs in T20 Internationals.
  13. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the first Vande Bharat Express Train on the Mysuru-Chennai route at Krantiveera Sangolli Railway Station in Bengaluru.

  15. Reliance Jio to extend its Jio True 5G services to Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Reliance has already successfully Beta-launched Jio True-5G in major cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Varanasi and Nathdwara.
  16. All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA) has announced that it has elected Ramesh Kejriwal as its President and Shashi Singh as the senior Vice President.
