  1. Every year in India 14 November is celebrated as Children’s Day to mark the birth anniversary of Pt Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime Minister of India (1947 to 1964).
  2. World Diabetes Day is celebrated every year on  14 November to mark the birthday of Frederick Banting, who discovered the insulin hormone along with Charles Herbert Best in 1922. The theme of World Diabetes Day 2022 is “Access to diabetes education”.
  3. Kerala Governor Arif Muhammad Khan inaugurated the IBSA Blind Football Women’s Asian/Oceania Championship 2022 at Kochi, Kerala.
  4. Cochin Shipyard signed an MoU with the Inland Waterways Authority of India to build the country’s first hydrogen fuel cell catamaran vessel for Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
  5. The Manipur Forest Authority to celebrate the 7th edition of the Amur Falcon Festival in Tamenglong district, Imphal. The objective of the Amur Falcon Festival is to spread awareness about the protection and conservation of the Amur Falcon.
  6. 85-year-old renowned mathematician and great scholar Padma Shri Awardee Shri Rangasami Lakshminarayan Kashyap or RL Kashyap passed away.
  7. On 11 November, 2022 the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, launched e-KUMBH (Knowledge Unleashed in Multiple Bharatiya Languages) portal which contains engineering courses and books would be available in 12 scheduled Indian languages from Jayadev Bhawan, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
  8. The World Kabaddi Federation on 12 November, 2022 announced that the UK’s West Midlands region will host the 2025 Kabaddi World Cup.
  9. President Droupadi Murmu is taking part in ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas’ program in Madhya Pradesh’s Shahdol district on 15 November, 2022.
  10. Kerala Tourism won coveted Responsible Tourism Global Award at London World Travel Mart on 9 November, 2022 for its STREET Project.
  11. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah will be the Indian representative on the decision-making ICC board and head the Finance and Commercial Affairs (F&CA) committee of the global cricket body.
  12. In Slovenia, Natasa Pirc Musar has been elected as the country’s first female President.
  13. Google has announced the winner of the 2022 Doodle for Google competition. Shlok Mukherjee from Kolkata was declared the winner for India for Google competition.
  14. Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports announced the National Sports Awards 2022. The awardees will receive their awards from the President of India at a specially organized function at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 30 November, 2022.
  15. Senior IAS Officer Gaurav Dwivedi has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Prasar Bharati.
  16. Spanish Film Director and writer Carlos Saura will be conferred the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award 2022 at the upcoming 53rd edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.
