1. India observes 6 December as Mahaparinirvan Divas to mark the death anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar. He passed away on 6 December, 1956. 
2. To mark the 51^st anniversary of India’s victory in the Longewala battle during the 1971 war, Parakram Diwas was celebrated at Longewala War Memorial in Rajasthan on 5 December, 2022.  
3. Science and Technology Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has inaugurated a conference on ‘Women Leading Change in Health and Science in India’, on 6 December, 2022 in New Delhi. 
4. India ranked 48^th position in the global aviation safety ranking released by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) on 5 December, 2022.  
5. A book titled ‘Brave Hearts of Bharat, Vignettes from Indian History’ by Vikram Sampath, an anthology of 15 stories of men and women and their indomitable spirit of freedom and courage, was launched in Delhi.  
6. Nagpur Metro has successfully created a Guinness World Record by constructing the longest double-decker viaduct (metro) which is 3,140 meters and was achieved by the Wardha Road in Nagpur.  
7. An Indian-origin businessman Mohan Mansigani has received ‘Officer of the Most Excellent Order’ of the British Empire in recognition of his charitable services to healthcare at an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace in London.  
8. Indian shuttler Anish Thoppani clinched a silver medal in the under-15 category at the Badminton Asia Junior Championships in Nonthaburi, Thailand on 4 December, 2022.
9. Canara Bank won the ‘Banker’s Bank of the Year Award 2022’ for India segment at the Global Banking Summit held in London. 
10. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurated the two-day long 65th Foundation Day celebrations of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) in New Delhi. 
11. Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL), the renewables arm of Adani Group, has commissioned its third wind-solar hybrid power plant at Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. 
12. The 7th edition of Exercise Sangam, a joint Naval Special Forces exercise between Indian Navy MARCOs and US Navy SEALs commenced in Goa on 1 December, 2022.  
13. Goldsikka with technology support from Hyderabad-based startup, Opencube Technologies has launched its first Gold ATM at Begumpet and described it India’s first Gold ATM and world’s first Real Time Gold ATM.  
14. In Shooting, Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh won the 10-meter air pistol mixed team title at the 65th National Shooting Championship Competitions in Bhopal on 4 December, 2022.
15. The Oxford English Dictionary has chosen ‘Goblin mode’ as the Word of the Year 2022 by an online vote. 
16. The United States (US) Air Force has unveiled its newest nuclear stealth bomber, the B-21 Raider, which is world’s first sixth-generation aircraft.
