  1. Lionel Messi was chosen as the World’s Best Player for 2022 by International Football Federation History and Statistics (IFFHS). 
  2. Union Minister Anurag Thakur launched the themes of the Y20 summit, logo, and website in New Delhi on 6 January 2023, in the curtain raiser event of Y20 Summit India.  
  3. Bandhan Bank launched its integrated marketing campaign ‘Jahaan Bandhan, Wahaan Trust’ featuring the bank’s brand ambassador, cricketing legend Sourav Ganguly. 
  4. The second phase of the Sari Festival ‘VIRAASAT’-celebrating 75 handwoven saris of India is being organised from 3 to 17 January, 2023 at Handloom Haat, Janpath, New Delhi.
