1. The International Day of Women Judges is celebrated every year on 10 March to honour all female judges who have taken the lead in the fight against social injustice. This International Day of Women Judges was observed with the campaign “Women in Justice, Women for Justice”. 
2. Every year on 10 March, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Raising Day is observed to mark the CISF’s founding on 10 March, 1969 and to honour the service and commitment of the CISF personnel for protecting India’s major installations and integrity. 
3. The Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, Hardeep Singh Puri launched the ‘Women Icons Leading Swachhata (WINS)’ Awards 2023 on 7 March, 2023.
4. Tejal Mehta, an Indian-American woman judge who promised to make a real impact to the community and treat people with compassion, has taken oath as the first Justice of a district court in the US state of Massachusetts.
5. Axis Mutual Fund appointed B Gopkumar as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) on 9 March, 2023.
6. Photojournalist Sipra Das was awarded with Lifetime Achievement Award at the 8^th National Photography Award ceremony in New Delhi.
7. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar released the book ‘Mundaka Upanishad: The Bridge to Immortality’ on 9 March, 2023.
8. Delhi Airport has been adjudged as one of the best and cleanest airports in the Asia Pacific region as a part of the international grouping Airport Council International (ACI)’s annual service quality award.
9. In the first command appointment for a woman officer in the Indian Air Force (IAF), Group Captain Shaliza Dhami has been selected to take over the command of a frontline combat unit in the Western sector.
10. India has been ranked 108^th in the Electoral Democracy Index 2023.
11. Reliance Industries has appointed Mr Hitesh Sethia, as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD) of its newly created financial services unit, Jio Financial Services (JFS).
12. The Tamil Nadu Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) for implementing Urban Cooling Programme in Tamil Nadu to meet the objectives under the Tamil Nadu State Action Plan on Climate Change.
13. Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel has been elected the new President of Nepal on 9 March, 2023.
14. In order to reduce carbon footprint in its operations, Tata Steel Mining Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with GAIL (India) Limited for supply of natural gas to its ferro alloys plant at Athgarh in Odisha’s Cuttack district. According to the MoU, GAIL will supply the agreed quantity of natural gas through its pipeline from Gujarat to Athgarh.
15. On 9 March, 2023 Assam entered the Guinness World Records Hall of Fame for the largest number of handwritten notes.
16. Reliance Life Sciences Pvt Ltd has received a licence from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur for a gene therapy method that has the potential to treat a variety of genetic eye ailments.
