1. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Raising Day, also known as CRPF Foundation Day, is annually celebrated on 27 July to commemorate the establishment of CRPF, the largest of India’s Central Armed Police Forces, and the immense and unparalleled contribution of the force in upholding the unity, integrity, and sovereignty of the nation. 2023 marks CRPF’s 85^th Raising Day.
2. Justice Alok Aradhe has taken oath as Chief Justice of Telangana High Court at a ceremonial programme held at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad on 23 July, 2023.
3. Virat Kohli on 21 July 2023, equals Sir Don Bradman’s elite record with his 29^th Test century in second test against West Indies in Port of Spain.
4. Indian Naval Ship Kirpan, a corvette that served the Indian Navy for 32 years, has been decommissioned and handed over to the Vietnam People’s Navy (VPN) in a ceremony held at Cam Ranh, Vietnam and this occasion marked the first time India has transferred a fully operational corvette to a foreign country.
