  • The ‘Red Planet Day’ is observed on 28 November every year.
  • The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in November 2021 adjudged Sadar Bazar Police Station in Delhi as the best police station across the country for 2021.
  • Bhartiya Janata Party has won 217 seats out of 222 seats across 13 urban local bodies (ULBs) including the Agartala Municipal Corporation
  • World’s tallest bridge pier is being built in Manipur by the Indian Railways. The Bridge which is being built at a pier height of 141 metres.
  • Economist Abhijit Banerjee has come up with his new  book ‘Cooking to save Your Life’.
  • Sohan Roy, a Forbes-listed entrepreneur from Kerala has become the first Indian who has been awarded the honorary title of ‘Knight of Parte Guelfa’ in Italy.
  • American composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim won eight Grammy Awards, eight Tony Awards passed away on 27 November, 2021.
  • 1985-batch Indian Revenue Service officer Vivek Johri has been appointed as the Chairman of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC). 
  • The European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen has announced that the European Union will not recognize the militant Taliban regime in Afghanistan which was imposed through violence.
  • The President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman has appointed Petr Fiala as the Prime Minister of the country. 
  • The 7th  India International Science Festival  will be held in Panaji, Goa from December 10 to 13, 2021. 
  • In cricket , Tamil Nadu has won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for 2021-22 by defeating Karnataka in the finals by four wickets.
