  1. In India, the ‘National Youth Day’ is celebrated on 12 January annually to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The theme for National Youth Day 2022 is The Theme of 2022 is “It’s all in the mind”.
  2. 11 January 2022 marked the 56th death anniversary of Lal Bahadur Shastri. 
  3. The 9th edition of the North East Festival concluded in Guwahati, Assam.
  4. PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the new campus of the Central Institute of Classical Tamil (CICT) in Chennai on 12 January 2022.
