  1. India is celebrating 74th Army Day on 15 January, 2022. India Army introduced light and more climate-friendly combat uniforms for its personnel on Army Day.
  2. 'Thiruvalluvar Day' was observed in Tamil Nadu on 15 January 2022.
  3. From 2022, 'Republic Day' celebrations will begin every year from 23 January

  15. An ancient Indian idol dating back to the 10th century, which was discovered in a garden in England, was restored in India on 14 January 2022.
