  1. 2 February is celebrated ‘World Wetlands Day’. World wetlands day aims to raise global awareness about the vital role of wetlands for people and the planet. The international theme for World Wetlands Day 2022 is ‘Wetlands Action for People and Nature’.
  2. Home delivery of medicines began from 1 February 2022 under Services e-Health Assistance and Teleconsultation, ‘SeHAT’.
  3. 2 February is celebrated as the ‘Rheumatoid Arthritis Awareness Day’.
  4. While presenting the Union Budget 2022-2023 in Parliament, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman referred to ‘Amrit Kaal’. Amrit Kaal is referred to the period from 75 Years to 100 Years of India’s independence.
  5. 400 new generations Vande Bharat trains will be brought trains in the period of next 3 years.
