  1. Union Minister of Home Affairs Shri Amit Shah attended the 37th Foundation Day celebrations of National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) as the Chief Guest in New Delhi on 11 March. NCRB came into existence in 1986.
  2. The Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan jointly inaugurated the first drone school in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
  3. The Union Minister of Ayush and Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated the International Conference on “Diet and Nutrition in Unani Medicine for Good health and Well-Being” in Srinagar on 10 March 2022.
  4. The first ‘Gati Shakti’ cargo terminal of Indian Railways’ was inaugurated in the Eastern Railway’s Asansol division. The cargo facility is expected to boost railway earnings by roughly Rs 11 crore per month.
  5. The government has appointed former Finance Secretary Ajay Bhushan Pandey as Chairman of the National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA) for a period of three years.

  12. Airports Council International (ACI) World has honoured Six Indian Airports with the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award 2021 under the Asia Pacific Category.
  13. Indian poet and writer Amitava Kumar authored a new book titled “The Blue: A Writer’s Journal”, a momory book with hybrid literacy and artistic parentage.
  14.  Bhupender Yadav, Union Minister for Labour and Employment, released a book titled “Role of Labour in India’s Development” in New Delhi.
  15. The Penguin Random House India (PRHI) has announced that a biography, titled “Soil Sorabjee: Life and Time” authored by advocate and legal scholar Abhinav Chandrachud will be released in April 2022.
  16. Author Geetanjali Shree’s translated Hindi novel “Tomb of Sand” is among 13 books long listed for the International Booker Prize.
  17. The Hungarian Parliament has elected Katalin Novak, a close ally of prime Minister Viktor Orban, as the EU member’s first-ever female president.
  18. Famous Golfer, Tiger Woods was formally inducted into the ‘World Golf Hall of Fame’.
