1. ‘World Water Day’ is celebrated globally on 22^nd March every year. The World Day theme 2022 is “Groundwater, Making the Invisible Visible”.
2. Pramod Sawant has been elected as the Chief Minister of Goa for his second term.
3. Pushkar Singh Dhami was elected as the CM of Uttarakhand on 21 March, 2022.
4. Senior BJP leader N Biren Singh took the oath as Chief Minister of Manipur for a second consecutive five-year term on March 21,2022.
5. Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi, an autonomus body under the Ministry of Culture, is organizing ‘Putul Utsav’, a ‘puppet festival’, on 21 March 2022. The theme of the festival is ‘Azadi Ke Rang, Putul Ke Sang’.
6. ‘Shri Dharmajivan Gatha’, the biography of Shashtriji Maharaj was released on 20 March 2022.
7. President Ram Nath Kovind conferred ‘Padma Vibhushan’, ‘Padma Bhushan’, and   ‘Padma Shri’ awards for 2022 at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 21 March, 2022.
8. PM Narendra Modi and Honorable PM of Australia Scott Morrison held the 2^nd India-Australia Virtual Summit on March 2022.
9. The 9^th Joint Military Exercise ‘LAMITIYE-2022’ between the Indian Army and Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF) was held from 22-31 March 2022 at Seychelles Defence Academy (SDA), Seychelles. 
10. Serdar Berdimuhamedow has been sworn in as the President of Turkmenistan.
11.  United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres announced the appointment of Indian development economist Jayati Ghosh as a member of the UN’s newly established Advisory Board on Effective Multilateralism.
12.  Five medals including two gold, two silver, and a bronze, were won by Uttar Pradesh athletes at the 19^th Senior and 14^th Junior National Para Powerlifting Championship held in Kolkata, in March 2022.
13. The 2022 BNP Paribas Open Tennis Tournament, also known as the 2022 Indian Wells Masters, was held from March 07 to 20, 2022 at Indian Wells, California, US.
14.  Defence Secretary of India, Dr Ajay Kumar has commissioned the Indian Coast Guard Ship (ICGS) ‘Saksham’.
15.  Hyderabad FC has clinched their maiden Indian Super League title after defeating Kerala Blasters in the penalty shoot-out in the summit clash.
16. Architect, educator and social activist Francis kéré has been announced as the 2022 laureate of the ‘Pritzker architecture prize 2022’, the award often referred to as architecture’s highest honour.
