  1. ‘World Tuberculosis Day’ is observed every year on 24 March. The theme of World Tuberculosis Day is “Invest to End TB. Save Lives’.
  2. United Nations has recognized March 24 to be observed as the ‘International Day for the Right to the Truth Concerning Gross Human Rights Violations and for the Dignity of Victims’ every Year.
  3. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated ‘Biplobi Bharat Gallery’ at Victoria Memorial Hall in Kolkata on the Occasion of ‘Shaheed Diwas’.
  4. Kerala is set to become the first state in the country to introduce ‘carbon-neutral farming methods’ in selected locations, for which the government has set aside Rs 6 crore in the Budget.
  5. Ministry of Civil Aviation (MOCA) and FICCI are jointly organizing Asia’s largest event on Civil Aviation (Commercial, General and Business Aviation), titled “WINGS INDIA 2022”.

  9.  ‘Geographical Indication tag’ has been awarded to the ‘Narasingapettai Nagaswaram’ under the category of musical instruments of ‘Class 15’. Narasingapettai Nagaswaram is a classical wind music instrument that is traditionally made in a village near Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu.
  10. Former Chairman State Bank of India (SBI) Rajnish Kumar has joined the international strategic advisory board of ‘Dun and Bradstreet’ on 24 March 2022.
  11.  The 73rd Annual National Conference of Indian Psychiatric Society (ANCIPS) has been organized in Visakhapatnam from 24 to 26th of March.
  12. The ‘Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters’ has awarded the ‘Abel Prize’ for the year 2022 to American Mathematician Dennis Parnell Sullivan.
  13. India’s Ravindra Jadeja reclaimed the top spot from West Indies’ Jason Holder in the latest ‘ICC Test rankings’ for all-rounders released on 24 March 2022.
  14. MS Dhoni, who has led the Chennai Super Kings since 2008, has stepped down as captain ahead of the IPL 2022 season on 24 March 2022.
  15. Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has successfully test-fired the surface to surface BrahMos supersonic cruise missile in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on 23 March.

  17. Shahab Uddin Ahmed, the former President of Bangladesh has passed away at the age of 92 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
  18.  Former Chief Justice of India (CJI) R.C. Lahoti passed away on March 23,2022.
