CURRENT AFFAIRS OF 30^th MARCH 2022

1. March 30 is observed as ‘Rajasthan Diwas’ or ‘Rajasthan Statehood Day’ Every Year. This Day, the state was formed in 1949.
2. The Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal ha inaugurated the Indian Jewellery Exposition Centre (IJEX) building in Dubai, UAE.
3. A Meseum of all former Prime Ministers, Pradhan Mantri Sangrahalaya (the Museum of Prime Ministers), has been built at Teen Murti Estate, in Delhi.
4. Assam and Meghalaya Government on 29 March, 2022 signed a historic agreement to resolve their 50-year-old pending boundary difference.
5. The Tata Steel Bard on 29 March, 2022 approved the appointment of Noel Naval Tata as the vice-chairman of the company.
6. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) appointed Neeraj Thakur as Director-General of Police Andaman & Nicobar on 29 March, 2022.

8. The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind has presented the ‘3^rd National water Awards’ in New Delhi. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) bagged the First Prize of the ‘National Water Awards-2022’ on 29 March, 2022.
9. Uttar Pradesh topped among all Indian states in terms of Water Conservation. On 29 March, 2022 President Ram Nath Kovind was awarded the ‘Best State’ award at the ‘National Water Awards 2022’.
10.   Weightlifter Mirabai Chanu has won the ‘BBC Indian Sportswoman of the Year’ award for 2021 on 29 March, 2022.
11. India’s leading UPS manufacturer and supplier, Numeric UPS won the ‘Most Trusted Bands of India 2022’ award on March 25,2022, at an event in Mumbai.
12.  Medanta Gurugram awarded as the ‘Best Private Hospital in India’ third time in a row in ‘Newsweek World’s Best Hospitals 2022’ Survey.  
13.  In this 3^rd edition of ‘BBC Indian Sportswoman of the Year 2021’, the “BBC Emerging Player Award” was presented to cricketer Shafali Verma.
14.  Star Air, the aviation arm of Sanjay Ghodawat Group, won the prestigious award for ‘Best Domestic Airline (RCS)’ by Wings India 2022. 
15. Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, released a book titled ‘Spoorthi Pradatha Sri Somayya’ authored by Syam Prasad.
16. Maharashtra has won the 21^st ‘National Para-Swimming Championship’ held at Khel Gaon, Udaipur.
17. Belgian Footballer Miguel Van Damme has passed away at the age of 28 on 29 March 2022.
18. Jeff Darling, the Australian Cinematographer and Director has passed away on 29 March 2022.
