  1. ‘World Hemophilia Day’ is observed globally on 17 April every year. The Theme of World Hemophilia Day 2022 is ‘Access for All: Partnership, Policy, Progress Engaging your government, integrating inherited bleeding disorders into national Policy’.
  2. ‘National Fire Service (NFS) Day’ is annually observed across India on 14th April to highlight the importance of fire service and to pay homage to the firefighters who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.
  3. Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a 108 feet statue of Lord Hanuman in Gujarat’s Morbi on 16 April 2022.
  4. The 40th edition of Hunar Haat began in Mumbai, on 16 April 2022. The 12-day event organized by the Union Ministry of Minority Affairs is aimed at providing exposure and employment opportunities to artisans and craftsmen from across the country.
