  1. ‘International Dance Day’ is observed on April 29 every year to celebrate different dance forms.
  2. Maharshi Dayanand University’s Komal Kohar won the first gold of the ‘Khelo University Games 2021’.
  3. Union Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Giriraj Singh launched ‘Azadi Se Antyodaya Tak’, on 28 April 2022.
  4. PM Narendra Modi has inaugurated ‘Semicon India Conference 2022’, the three-day event taking place from April to May 1st, 2022.
  5. Atal Tunnel built in Rohtang of Himachal Pradesh received Indian Building Congress (IBC) ‘Best Infrastructure Project’ award on 28 April 2022.
  6. Airports Authority of India (AAI) successfully conducted a flight trial using GAGAN (GPS Aided GEO Augmented Navigation ) based LPV Approach Procedures at Kishangarh Airport, Rajasthan.
