  1. ‘World Migratory Bird Day’ is marked twice a year since its inauguration in 2006. International Migratory Bird Day has been celebrated on 14 May and will be celebrated 8 October, 2022. The theme for World Migratory Bird Day 2022 is ‘Light Pollution’.  
  2. Dr. Frank Wilczek, a Nobel Prize-winning theoretical physicist and author, receives the 2022 Templeton Prize.
  3. UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan passed away.
  4. Lionel Messi has topped the list of Forbes Highest-Paid Athletes 2022 with a reported income of $130 million.
  5. Indian Pilstol pairs Esha Singh and Saurabh Chaudhary clinched the mixed team pistol gold at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup in Suhl Germany.

  10.  Chairman of Bajaj Finserv Limited, Sanjit Bajaj has assumed the office of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) President for the year 2022-2023, after replacing the CEO of Tata Steel, TV Narendran.
  11. Indian archers wrapped up a highly successful Asia Cup 2022 Stage-2 campaign in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq with a total of 14 medals-eight golds, four silvers and two bronze.
