  1. Bharti Airtel’s board has reappointed Gopal Vittal as Managing Director and CEO for a further period of five years ending on 31 January, 2028.
  2. MyGov Karnataka was launched by Chief Minister Basavraj Bommai on 17 May, 2022.
  3. DRDO and Indian Navy successfully conducted first flight-test of indigenously-developed Naval Anti-Ship Missile on 18 May, 2022.
  4. The 2022 Asian Para Games that were scheduled to take place in Hangzhou have been postponed due to the COVID-19.
  5. The Union Government has announced the formation of the Cotton Council of India under the Chairmanship of Suresh Bhai Kotak.
  6. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the first ‘Vadnagar International Conference’ at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar on 18 May on the occasion of World Museum Day.
