  1. Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Director for Finance at Indian Oil Corporation, has been picked to head India’s largest gas utility GAIL (India) Ltd. He will replace Manoj Jain, who is scheduled to retire on 31 August.
  2. Ashok Soota, founder and Executive Chairman of Happiest Minds Technologies, has been conferred with CII Quality Ratna Award 2021.
  3. According to a Survey, Kolkata is the least costly city in Asia, while Mumbai and Delhi are among the top 40 most expensive cities for expats.
  4. The 2022 NATO Madrid Summit was held in Madrid, Spain, from 28 to 30 June, 2022. This was the 32nd edition of the summit, since the first summit meeting held in Paris in 1957.
  5. Max Life Insurance have launched another digital solution Instant Insurance Confirmation (Insta-COI)+.  Through recent digital interventions like Chatbot and WhatsApp servicing, Max Life has provided novel service experiences.

  10.  Department of Telecommunications has signed an agreement with Indian Telephone Industries (ITI) Ltd and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).
  11.  Airports Authority of India (AAI) has signed an Operation and Management agreement for operationalization of five airports owned by UP govt for a period of 30 years.
  12.  Yair Lapid has become the 14th Prime Minister of Israel. He also became the first Israeli Premier to appoint a woman to head his office.
  13.  Leonardo Del Vecchio, the Ray-Ban owner, died at age of 87 in San Raffaele hospital in Milan, Italy.
  14.  Indian origin T. Raja Kumar has taken over as President of Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the world’s anti-terrorism financing agency.
