  1. Kargil Vijay Diwas is commemorated every year on 26 July to observe India’s victory over Pakistan in the 1999 Kargil war.
  2. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)'s International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem or World Mangrove Day is celebrated annually on 26 July to raise awareness of the importance of mangrove ecosystems.
  3. Karnataka Health Minister K. Sudhakar inaugurated India’s first brain health clinic in Bengaluru on 22 July, 2022.
  4. Canara bank on 22 July, 2022 launched a mobile banking super app called ‘Canara ai1’.
  5. SAP Labs India has partnered National e-Governance Division (NeGD) to launch ‘SAP Centre for Digital Government (SCDG)’ in Bengaluru.
  6. Former Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane has been honoured by the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) for his role in strengthening ties between India and US.
  7. Tripura signed an MoU on 25 July, 2022 with the North-East Space Application Centre run by the central government’s Department of Space.
  8. The Ladakh Festival Kargil 2022 was inaugurated by Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan at Khree Sultan Chow Stadium in Bemathang Kargil in Ladakh.
  9. In Bhopal, a large statue honouring Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad will be erected.
  10. On 26 July, 2022 Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad (RGAVP) and Stree Nidhi, a government of Telangana organisation signed an MoU to establish ‘Rajasthan Mahila Nidhi (RMN)’, Rajasthan’s first and India’s third women’s financial institution.
  11. A Maritime Partnership Exercise (MPX) was conducted between Japan Maritime Self Defense Force and Indian Navy in the Andaman Sea.
  12. Bob Rafelson, co-creator of ‘The Monkees’ and Director of the film ‘Five Easy Pieces’, passed away in July 2022.
  13. The Sports Authority of India (SAI) has started a new initiative to cheer for Team India, under which SAI has launched the campaign ‘Create for India’ to cheer Indian contingents participating in the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
  14.  Bajram Begaj, a retired military commander and politician, was sworn in as the ninth President of Albania, at a ceremony in Parliament.
