1. World Nature Conservation Day is observed on 28 July every year. This year World Nature Conservation Day will be celebrated under the theme “Cut Down on Plastic”.
2. World Hepatitis Day is observed each year on 28 July. The theme for 2022 is “Bringing hepatitis care closer to you”.
3. Indian men’s hockey team captain Manpreet Singh and shuttler PV Sindhu have been named as India’s flag-bearers for the opening ceremony of Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2022.
