1. International Tiger Day is observed globally on 29 July every year. This year’s theme for International Tiger Day 2022 is “India launches Project Tiger to revive the tiger population”.
2. Dinesh Shahra Foundation (DSF) has instituted a first-of-its-kind ‘Dinesh Shahra Lifetime Award’ for Excellence in Music.
3. India maintained their third position with 110 rating point in the latest men’s ODI team rankings. New Zealand is at the top of the team ODI rankings with a rating of 128, while England with 119 rating point remains in second place.
4. Monkeypox virus has been for the first time isolated in India by the National Institute of Virology (NIV) in Pune.
5. Coca-Cola has signed Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra for Limca Sportz promotion.

10.  The Cochin Shipyard Ltd on 28 July, 2022 handed over the India’s first indigenous aircraft carrier ‘Vikrant’, to the Indian Navy.
