  1. World Ranger Day is observed on 31 July every year.
  2. IFS Officer of 1994 batch Pranay Kumar Verma has been appointed as India’s next High Commissioner to Bangladesh.
  3. The Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Narendra Modi, has approved the signing of guarantees for hosting the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2022 in India.
  4. PM Narendra Modi on 29 July, 2022 laid the foundation stone of the Headquarters building of the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA), at the GIFT city in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
  5. India’s Sanket Sargar has scripted history, by becoming the first athlete from India to win a silver medal at Commonwealth Games 2022.  
  6. Daughter of India, weightlifter Mirabai Chanu has won India’s first gold medal at the Commonwealth Games 2022 in the Women’s 49 Kg weightlifting category.
  7. India’s weightlifter, Achinta Sheuli (73 Kg representative) bagged the gold medal at Commonwealth Games 2022.
  8. To educate the state’s women about their constitutional rights and laws, the Chhattisgarh Women Commission will host the ‘Mukhyamantri Mahtari Nyay Rath Yatra’.

  12.  PM Narendra Modi on 30 July inaugurated the first All India District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Meet in New Delhi.
  13.  The 3rd edition of Vietnam-India Bilateral Army Exercise ‘Ex VINBAX 2022’ is conducted at Chandimandir, Haryana from August 1 to 20, 2022.
  14. The European Championship final saw England defeat Germany 2-1 to claim its first significant women’s soccer championship.
