  3. Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari inaugurated the 22nd ‘Bharat Rang Mahotsav’ at Rabindra Natya Mandir in Mumbai on 9 August, 2022.
  4. Ahmedabad University Professor Ramadhar Singh has been marked on the ‘Heritage Wall of Fame’ of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) in the US.
  5. Renowned Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake passed away on 9 August, 2022.
  6. The Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) has published a book titled ‘Field Guide, Birds of India’ , deals with 1331 species of birds found in the Country.
  7. India’s Bhavani Devi on 10 August, 2022 won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Fencing Championships 2022 in the Senior Women’s Sabre Individual category.
  8. Renuka Singh has got the 18th spot in the ICC Women’s T20I Rankings for bowlers after finishing as the top wicket-taker in the Commonwealth Games 2022.
  9.  The Election Commission has hosted a virtual meet of the Asian Regional Forum in New Delhi on 11 August, 2022.
  10.  The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced Sri Lankan spin sensation Prabath Jayasuriya and England batting all-rounder Emma Lamb as the winners of its Player of the Month awards for July 2022.
  11. Indian Olympic Association (IOA) announced table tennis player Achanta Sharath Kamal and boxer Nikhat Zareen as the Flagbearers of India for the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games 2022 at Birmingham.
  12.   As part of the celebrations for Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath debuted ‘Radio Jaighosh’ to commemorate the anniversary of the Kakori Train Action.
