  1. The first Khelo India Women’s Judo Tournament has started from 27 August, 2022. The national round will be held from 20 to 23 October, 2022 at the KD Jadhav Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.  
  2. The Anang Tal lake in South Delhi has been declared a monument of national importance.
  3.  The first 3D-printed post office in India will come up in Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru.
  4. Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) will invest Rs 2 lakh crore to achieve net-zero operational carbon emissions by 2046.
  5. In a major boost for achieving indigenisation in the armed forces, the Indian Navy will use 100% indigenous 30mm high explosive AK-630 guns.
  6. Virat Kohli has played his 100th T20I match for his country and become the only Indian player in history to play 100 matches for his country in all formats.  
  7. DRDO carried out trials of the Pinaka extended range rocket at the pokhran firing ranges in Rajasthan. The Pinaka rocket has been developed by DRDO.
  8. NASA’s Artemis 1 mission has been launched on 29 August, 2022. The spacecraft is scheduled to travel to the Moon, deploy some small satellites and then settle into orbit.
  9. PM Narendra Modi addressed Khadi Utsav at the Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad on 27 August, 2022.
  10.  HDFC Bank and Tata Neu, the ‘Super app’ of the Tata Group, announced their collaboration to introduce co-branded credit cards.
  11.  North-east state, Nagaland got its second railway station after a gap of more than 119 years with the commissioning of a new facility at Shokhuvi.
  12.  The government issued an order requiring all businesses to market their goods under the brand name ‘Bharat’ in order to standardize fertilizer brands across the nation.
  13.   Indian Judoka Linthoi Chanambam scripted history by winning India’s first-ever medal in Judo World Championships with a gold in the Women’s 57kg category at the World Judo Cadet (U18) Championships.
  14.  SBI Securities, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SBI Capital Securities Limited (SBICAP), has appointed Deepak Kumar Lalla as the new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
  15.  Sadananda Shetty, former Vijaya Bank Chairman and founder and serving Chairman of Soham Group of Companies, passed away at the age of 85 years in Nice city, France.
