1. Veteran Congress leader and former MP from Odisha Jayanti Patnaik passed away on 28 September, 2022.
2. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has found 20 Buddhist caves, ranging from the 2^nd Century BC to the 5^th Century BC, at Madhya Pradesh’s Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.
3. The All India Football Federation (AIFF) on 27 September, 2022 launched its Grassroots Football Development (GFD) scheme in Arunachal Pradesh.
4. The Chhattisgarh Tourism Board on 27 September, 2022 (World Tourism Day) signed an MoU with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to promote tourist places in the state.
5. Gujarat is hosting the 36^th National Games from 29 September to 12 October, 2022. It was formally inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

14.  Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) on 29 September, 2022 commissioned the world’s largest wind-solar power plant in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.  
15.  India’s leading public sector bank Bank of Baroda (BOB) has launched ‘Khushiyon ka Tyohaar’, an annual festive campaign with a range of offers as the festive season starts.
