  1. United Nations Day, on 24 October, marks the anniversary of the entry into force in 1945 of the UN Charter.
  2. The 14th World Spice Congress will take place in the CIDCO Exhibition and Convention Centre in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, from 16 to 18 February, 2023.
  3. Delhi government has launched the ‘Diye Jalao, Patake Nahin’ (light up lamps, not firecrackers) campaign at Central Park in New Delhi.
  4. India’s leading fintech platform, PhonePe, has launched its first Green Data Center in India, Mumbai, Maharashtra leveraging technologies and solutions from Dell Technologies and NTT.
  5. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar announced that the central government will start a Rs 500 crore accelerator program to help agro enterprises with their profitable ideas.

  15. Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala released the autobiography of senior Congress leader Advocate (Adv) C K Sreedharan ‘Jeevitham Niyamam Nilapadukal’ written in Malayalam at Kanhangad, Kerala.
