  1. World Day for Audiovisual Heritage (WDAH) is celebrated on 27th October every year to highlight and promote the importance of such preservation. “Enlisting documentary heritage to promote inclusive, just and peaceful societies” is the theme for WDAH this year.
  2. Indian Army Infantry Day is celebrated on 27th October every year to pay homage to the soldiers who fought for the country and laid down their lives in the line of duty.
  3. 27th October 2022 marked 102nd birth anniversary of former President of India Dr. K R Narayanan.

  11. A K Goel, Managing Director and CEO, Punjab National Bank (PNB), has been re-elected as the Chairman of the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) for the term 2022-23.
  12. Shefali Juneja, India’s representative to the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), has been elected as the Chairperson of UN’s specialized aviation agency’s Air Transport Committee (ATC).
  13. Samsung Electronics on 27th October, 2022 appointed Jay Y. Lee as the executive chairman of the company.
  14. Indian multinational conglomerate Tata in partnership with Airbus will manufacture C-295 transport aircraft for the Indian Air Force at Vadodara in Gujarat.
  15. The Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi has emerged as the world’s 10th busiest airport in October 2022, according to a report by the UK-based aviation analytics firm OAG.
